Obituary of Effie Bachert

BACHERT, Effie Peacefully with the love and support of her family, Effie passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, in her 86th year. Beloved wife of 59 years to Herbert. Effie will be forever loved by her children and their families; Beth-Ann (Craig) and their children Jade and Noah, from Australia, and Michael-John, Angela and their children Cory and Ashley, from St. Catharines. Effie has been reunited with her grandson, Angel Cole (2003). She leaves behind her sisters Helen, Rosie, Stella. A special thank you to Effie's caregivers and CCAC for all their love, support and care over the years. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Fri., Nov. 20, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Effie's Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sat., Nov. 21, 2015 at 12 p.m. Cremation to follow the ceremony. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
