Obituary of Janina "Jean" Szymanski

SZYMANSKI, Janina "Jean" It is with saddened hearts that we announce that our Mother and Grandmother has passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Friday, August 28, 2015, in her 92nd year. She is now with her loving husband Kazimierz (predeceased in 1989). She is survived by her 3 daughters and their families; Angela Gracan, Sofie and Bob D'Amico and Mary and Frank Muehlenbeck. Loving Babci of Maryanne Gracan, Walt (Lori) Gracan, Stephanie Caruso, Aaron D'Amico, Andrew (Sara) Muehlenbeck and Amanda (Michael) McNiven. Beloved Pra Babci of Samantha Gracan, Mikayla and Ava Muehlenbeck and Aubrey Gracan. Janina was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, the Rosary Society and the Polish Canadian Society. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Linhaven for their wonderful care. Janina's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Rosary will be held in the funeral home at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5 Oblate St. on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 10 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to Our Lady Perpetual Help Church.
