Obituary of Rev. Dr. William Campbell Bothwell

BOTHWELL, WILLIAM CAMPBELL, STM, DD. - Departed this life at 12:40 a.m. on June 23, 2015 in Christian faith. Beloved husband of the Late Lois McFarlane R.N., father of The Reverend Canon Kevin Bothwell (Toni), Alison Brown (Drew) and the late Adrienne Samuk (Igor). Grandfather of six, Tristan (Ariel), Ian, Kieran (Kate), Christopher, Emma, and Leslie. Dr. Bothwell was a graduate of the University of Toronto Schools, the U of T (PolSci & Ec), of Trinity College, Toronto and Union Seminary, NYC (Theology) and the Ontario College of Education. He held the certificate of St Augustine’s College, Canterbury. Sometime rector of St Martin-in-the-Fields Toronto, lecturer at Trinity College, St Augustine’s College, Dean of Christ Church Cathedral Montreal, teacher, broadcaster and columnist. Honorary Fellow of the Canadian School of Management. Recipient of the Canadian Confederation Centennial Medal. A Requiem Eucharist will be held at St. Thomas’ Church in St. Catharines (99 Ontario Street) on Wednesday July 15 at 10 A.M. with the main celebration of life and Requiem Eucharist to be held at St. John's, East Orangeville, (3907 Hwy 9, East of Orangeville) at 11 A.M. on Saturday July 18, 2015. Réquiem ætérnam dona eis, Dómine, et lux perpétua lúceat eis. Requiéscant in pace. Amen.
