Obituary of Joan Rustin

RUSTIN, Joan Passed away peacefully at Ina Grafton on February 23rd at the age of 81. Wife of Leo. Much loved mother of Mark, Chris (Caroline), Cathy (Doug) Aitken and Michele (Kenny) Mellen. Dear Nanny of 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Fred (Darlene) Murray and sister Shirley (the late Al) Penner, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. A special mention to Jane, our stepmother, who helped us with this very stressful time in our mothers life. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Joan's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Saturday, February 28th from 10:30am-11:15am. A service to celebrate her life will follow in the chapel at 11:30 am. If desired, memorial donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
