Obituary of Jean-Guy Louis Pharand

PHARAND, Jean-Guy Suddenly in his home, Jean-Guy passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at the age of 86. Jean-Guy has been reunited with his beloved wife of 55 years, Mercedes "Bay" (2006). Loving father of Denis (Judy), Rachelle, Paul (the late Suzanne, 2004), Robert (Gail) and Dan. Cherished grandpa of Melanie, Michelle (Barrett), J.P., Bobby, Amy, Brett, Tara, Ashley and Chantel. Jean-Guy will be greatly missed by his Tootsie (Addison), his other great-grandchildren and by his extended family. Jean-Guy's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Monday, February 2nd from 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. A Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass will be celebrated in the funeral home chapel, following the visitation, at 11:30 a.m. Cremation to follow the service. A private inurnment will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by Jean-Guy's family.
