Obituary of Katharine Victoria Toms

TOMS, Katharine Victoria - It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Katharine Toms on November 17th at home. Wife of Jim for 53 years, mother to Mark and Wendy. Predeceased by both parents, Anthony and Mary Urbanik. Survived by brother John Urbanik (Marie) of Pickering, sister Sharon O'Rourke (Brendan) of Fenwick, and sister-in-law Dianne Ruggiero (the late Jack). Also survived by nieces and nephews Brian (Kimiko) Urbanik, Katie Urbanik, Casey O'Rourke, Darby O'Rourke, Peter Ruggiero and Brian Ruggiero. At Kathy's request, there will be no visitation and cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, on Monday, November 24th at 11:30am. Following the service, a reception will follow in the Kristen French Fellowship Hall in the lower level of the funeral home. There will be a private family inurnment in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by her family.
