Obituary of Darrell James Schild

SCHILD, Darrell James Peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at the age of 48, Darrell was called home to be with his Lord and Saviour, after a battle with cancer. Darrell will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 30 years, Mary Ellen (nee Bigelow). Proud father of Rebecca and Bradly. Cherished son of John and Gerda (nee Ledwez). Dear brother of Patti (Michel) Dompierre, Linda Cannatelli and brother-in-law of Dr. Gayle Bigelow and Winston (Rosemary) Bigelow. Darrell is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents-in-law Stanley and Mary Bigelow and also by his brother-in-law Allan Bigelow. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Friday, October 31, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Darrell's life will be held in Full Gospel Church, 376 Carlton St., on Saturday, November 1, 2014. Visitation will be held prior to the service in the church from 8:30-9:15 a.m. Following the service, burial will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be given to the charity of one's choice.
