Obituary of Marjorie Whalen

WHALEN, Marjorie Passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 28th, 2014 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Michael Whalen (August 12, 1989). Cherished Mom of Carole (Hans) Apking and Dennis. Much loved Grandmother of Paul, Michael, Robert and Steven. Marjorie is also survived by her brother Ted (Teresa) Bacon, her nieces Sandra, Joanne, Kim and her nephews Tim, Curtis, Edward, Jim and David. Dearly missed by her close friends Emi, Margaret and Ruth. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Thursday, October 2nd from 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Marjorie's life will take place on Friday, October 3rd at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Reception to take place in the Kristen French Fellowship Hall following the burial. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
