Obituary of Joseph David MacKeil

Passed away peacefully on September 7, 2014 at the age of 85. Loving husband of Joan MacKeil for 59 years. He will be greatly missed by his children, Joe MacKeil (Prameela Tirkey), Stacey (Larry) Wright, Dot (John) Levay. Loving grandfather to Andrew, Shane, Devin, Kristy, and Jodi. Joseph spent over 30 years working for the Department of National Defence in Civilian Services. He was an avid and always-improving golfer and a stalwart supporter of the Toronto Blue Jays. Visitation will be held at GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL (585 Carlton Street) on Thursday, September 11 from 10:30a.m. -12:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel at 12:00 p.m. A private family inurnment will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
