Obituary of Frances Klimek

KLIMEK, Frances (daughter of Marta Gruen and Franz Kutschke)- Passed away peacefully on Friday, June 5th, 2009 at the age of 89 years in St. Catharines, Ontario. She will be missed by her son and daughter in law Dr Edwin and Marian Klimek and her grandchildren Caroline and Madeline of St. Catharines. Frances is predeceased by her husband, Edward Klimek, infant son Jurgen and siblings Mary Fahl, Joseph Wesolowski, Anne Kimmen and Otto Wesolowski. Frances and Edward arrived in Canada in 1951 and lived among relatives in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. She was a long time employee of Electrohome in Kitchener, Ontario and spent her last years at Anchor Pointe in St. Catharines. Frances is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil prayers will take place on Wednesday at 2:30p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria on Thursday at 10a.m. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow.The family wishes to express thanks and appreciation for the kindness and care of Dr. Alan Ditor and the staff of the St. Catharines General Hospital during her last days.
