This reflects our desire to provide options that make sense to a growing number of families. The rental casket is designed to be a particularly practical option for families who are choosing cremation yet still want to have a period of visitation for family and close friends to provide closure.

The Rental System provides this option at a greatly reduced cost compared to purchasing. Local crematorium by-laws require that the body still be placed in some form of combustable container that meets their minium requirements. The transfer of the body into one of these minimal containers is included in the rental charge.  A growing number of families are seeing this option as a more practical and affordable choice when it comes to funeral costs. This option is allowing many families who turned away from public visitation because of the costs, to have some form of public visitation. We will continue to produce options designed to help families reduce the costs of funerals, while still allowing them to go ahead with services designed to help provide closure.  If you would like to arrange for the rental of this unit at another local funeral home, please give us a call first and we will make all the neccesary arrangements.

Rental Casket - Dominion Maple Ceremonial

The rental casket can be used for either burial or cremation. If used for burial or cremation, funeral service must be completed in our Chapel. Our staff, in association with cemetery personnel will go ahead with the internment using the alternative container on our own.
