Arrangements of a funeral service in St. Catharines, Ontario

While George Darte Funeral Home are involved with death on a daily basis, we never forget that completing all the necessary arrangements of a funeral service is a task most families face only a few times. We can assist you in completing all of the arrangements within your financial means and with the special preferences you desire. Our intention is to help make every ceremony personal and meaningful, and truly reflective of the life that was lived.

After care is the ability for the funeral home to offer to guide someone through the necessary adjustments that the living must endure; to continue living without the deceased being a physical part of their community. The survivors must change the way they do things since the deceased cannot be there to either do things for the survivors. These items may include government forms, banking, cooking food, doing the laundry and driving to name just a few.

After care is helping someone learn to do things for the first time. It also helps the survivor know what to do, and helping them understand that they will be able to do it themselves. One level of aftercare helps people learn to live with the grief. Another level of aftercare helps people reconcile their personal and sometimes religious feelings on death and dying.
